Mow lawn and blow clippings from paved surfaces on a weekly or as-needed basis throughout the season. Cutting will be done in a pattern and at a height and pace that avoids lawn damage and maintains a presentable and consistent appearance to the grass cut.
String trimming is done in conjunction with “Mowing Lawns.” String trim and blow away clippings from paved surfaces. Trimming will be done around building structures and applicable plant beds and landscape features. Care will be taken to maintain a level cut throughout and to avoid causing unsightly cuts or damages to areas being string trimmed.
Edging will be completed approximately every month during the season. Edging will be done in areas deemed highly visible to typical vehicular and pedestrian traffic patterns. Dirt and clippings will be blown from paved surfaces. Care will be taken to maintain a straight cut edge and to avoid causing any unsightly cuts or damage to areas being edged.
Weeding is done in conjunction with “Mowing Lawns” and “String Trimming” and is intended to keep plant bed weeds to a minimum and to prevent new weed growth in plant beds. Disturbed areas will be smoothed and weeds will be properly disposed of so that plant beds maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
A spring cleanup will include the removal of fallen leaves, rocks, and other debris from the lawn. Lawn will be raked and plant beds will be cleared of debris. Fall cleanup will include the removal of leaves from bushes and beds. Lawn areas will be raked or vacuumed. Perennial plants will be cut back appropriately.
New growth on deciduous shrubs will be cut back and long shoots from evergreen shrubs will be cut back. Any debris generated will be cleared. Tree trimming and upright evergreen trimming is not included.
